Erin is a classroom teacher, a developer for the AIM4SCubed Math Framework (Achievement Inspired Mathematics for Scaffolding Student Success) and has taught remedial math courses at the local community college. She is driven by a desire to give all students equitable access to mathematics believing that math understanding is essential to their futures. She has seen strong academic gains in math from her language learners and students who struggle with math. She credits this to a deep understanding of the standards, knowing her students well, using data to drive instruction, and the intentional use of sheltering and scaffolding strategies.
