Sandy Vorensky is an instructional math coach and middle school math teacher for Metuchen School District in New Jersey. Achievements have included NJ Middlesex County 2013 – 2014 Teacher of the Year, NJ Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award, National Raytheon Math Heroes award for creative teaching in math, and NJDOE Achievement Coach presenter. Sandy's interest is focused on differentiation and authentic engagement in math and she has written articles for AMLE and ASCD Express about these topics. Sandy is currently a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership program, with an interest in studying math anxiety at Rowan University.
