Discourse done through the Mathematical Practices

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This session explores questioning, discourse, and how students can be part of building a rich environment using the Mathematical Practices as the foundation.
By engaging in a hands-on math activity aligned to standards, we will work together to build a math practice poster that supports questioning and discourse. You will leave with a stronger understanding of what mathematical discourse is; what strategies can be used to create a Standard Base Learning Environment, and how to have students create questions that everyone can use to move learning forward.
