A Beginner's Guide to Three Act Math Story Problems

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

According to Mark Turner in his book The Literary Mind, "Narrative imagining — story — is the fundamental instrument of thought... Rational capacities depend on it. It is our chief means of looking in to the future, of predicting, of planning, and of explaining...Most of our experiences, our knowledge and our thinking is organized as stories.”

Imagine the power of using story in your math class! Join Scott & Megan as they present this introduction to the 3-Act Story Math Problem concept. Megan and Scott will guide you through the essential components of 3-Act Story Math, and then will task you with beginning to build an adventure for YOUR students!

Note: this session is recommended for attendees who are NEW to the three-act math story problem concept and have NOT taken part in MidSchoolMath Story Project Workshops, retreats or sessions in the past.
